Together with my husband, I produced the documentary movie ‘Broad Band Africa‘. Within the filming, we interviewed people in rural areas of Tanzania on the way they use ICT and discussed the importance of digital skills for their future.

The movie clearly shows the urge that people feel for ICT as a tool to improve their quality of living. Especially the young people in rural areas want to be able to access the Internet and get the knowledge they need to prepare themselves for a better future.

Organising a project in this environment was a challenge and a very interesting experience. Within the project my activities where:

• Video editing
• Subtitling
